Dr. Paul N. Backas graduated from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign as a member of Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Honors Biology.
He earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois in Chicago where he also completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology.
Dr. Backas is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He is an active member of the American College of Radiology and Radiological Society of North America.Dr. Backas serves as Clinical Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of Illinois in Chicago.
Dr. Backas has special interest and expertise in Interventional Radiology and Vertebroplasty. He has been with Naperville Radiologists, SC since 2001.
