Prostate MRI
Prostate imaging using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a non-invasive imaging technique which allows a better evaluation for possible cancer if your prostate-specific antigen (PSA) level is elevated or if there is recurrence in a previously treated prostate. It also can determine the extent of prostate cancer and whether the cancer has spread elsewhere. Prostate MRI can also detect other conditions such as infection or benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and help in radiotherapy treatment planning. Naperville Radiologists have Board-Certified Radiologists who have extensive experience in interpreting Prostate MRI. If you and your physician think you are in need of a prostate MRI and you have an order from your physician, please call Edward-Elmhurst Central Scheduling to schedule with Naperville Radiology at Edward Hospital at (630) 527-3200.
