Michael W. Mitchell, MD graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame.
After earning his medical degree from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine, he completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at University of Illinois Hospital and Affiliates in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Mitchell then served a fellowship in Cross-Sectional Imaging at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
He is board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners, American Board of Radiology, and an active member of the American College of Radiology and Radiological Society of North America. Dr. Mitchell holds an academic appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago.
He has been with Naperville Radiologists, SC since 1989. Dr. Mitchell’s area of expertise is in Vascular Imaging and Musculoskeletal MRI.
