Allan Haggar, MD

Dr. Allan Haggar received his medical education from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan and was residency trained in Diagnostic Radiology at Henry Ford Hospital where he also served as Chief Resident.  Dr Haggar received his fellowship training in CT, Ultrasound, and MRI at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.   

He was formerly Chief of the Division of MRI at Henry Ford Hospital and director of the MRI fellowship program.  Additionally,  Dr Haggar was formerly an Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and National Board of Medical Examiners and an active member of the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, and the American Roentgen Ray Society.
Dr. Haggar has authored 2 book chapters and has published 30 papers on magnetic resonance imaging.   Dr Haggar is well versed in the many facets of radiology and has a special interest in CT, Ultrasound, and MRI.

Dr. Haggar was awarded an honorary degree as a Fellow with the American College of Radiology (ACR) in 2017. It is one of the highest honors the ACR bestows to Radiologists who demonstrate a history of tremendous service to the ACR, teaching, organized radiology and/or research
